Bachelor of Theology
NEBC offers three years of Bachelor of Theology (B.Th.), which is accredited by the Asia Theological Association (ATA) since 2006. B.Th. the course is delivered semester wise in the class setting with the use of lecture and PowerPoint, group discussions, group studies and presentations, field visit, weekend ministry exposure in the social context, class exercise, library engagement, visiting the common library of Association for Theological Education by Extension. B.Th. is a residential course, and nearby day-scholars are obliged to follow all requirements as resident students.
Eligibility
- Having two to three years of born again experience and commitment to the Evangelical Faith and Christian ministry.
- Entrance qualification: 10+2 or equivalent in any department.
- In case of mature candidate (that is, above 25 of age), SLC or equivalent and 5 years of experience in Christian ministry.
- The total quota for the qualified mature candidate is only 10%.
- Mature candidate needs to submit a copy of the certificate of work/ministry experience, attested by a recognized Christian leader.
- Applicants should be capable of speaking, reading, and writing in the English language. S/he also should have a basic knowledge of the Bible.
- The entrance exam will be in those areas.
- Students enrolled at NEBC will not be allowed to do any other course outside the Institution.
Selection Process
- A completely filled-in Application Form should be submitted by July 3, 2020, along with two passport-size recent photographs and photocopies of all the certificates.
- Original certificates must be submitted at the time of the interview. A migration certificate or its equivalent should be submitted once the admission is received (from Indian schools only).
- Financial Guarantee Letter from the concerned person/church/organization/sponsor should be submitted before the entrance exam.
- Two letters of reference – one from the local church pastor and another from a leader of any other church or organization.
